Burnout Catherine Wheel
Burnout is the new large Catherine Wheel by Absolute Fireworks and is available under their Taipan Fireworks brand name. Catherine Wheels are still very popular but these days most customers just want one or two good ones rather than the traditional smaller variety that had a reputation for not spinning. Burmout is certainly a good large wheel. Its diameter is 34cm/13" so you will need a good sturdy post to attach it to. There are three distinctive changes of effect during the 45 second display.
There is no whistle effect in Burnout so it is suitable for people wanting a good, low noise firework. There is a crackle effect right at the end but you can see that this makes for quite a spectacular ending.

David & Sally's opinion - We never seem to have enough Catherine Wheels but getting good ones that spin is not as easy as it might seem. No reported faulty items with Burnout though after a season on trial with us.
- Great finale with a large spread of crackling stars.
- Will require fixing to a sturdy post but a nail is supplied with the wheel.
